Most of the people think that the key of the progress is a good development of an economic model, but what kind of consequences create to the society a “good development” to the society , Why are still increasing in biggest quantity the nature damage?, The consumerism are increasing the poor people?, is this good for the society?, Continue reading and I will show you the  damage that consumerism are making to Colombia, and how the benefits of some ones are more important that the whole society development.

In Colombia we are generation the 50% plus of solid waste that 50 years before, and it cause that we need to start to search more places to put the excess of those waste, so we change biomes to trash places and rivers, takes to a pollution and dangerous liquid, is at this moment when we start to look what would be more comfortable and sustainability to nature, in other worlds  we need to stop the buy and the production of unnecessary materials; but taking to account the possible consequence to the economy, the offer and demand that actually we have, the UNEP (United Nations Environment Program) says that when  the 2050 starts the consume of natural recourses going to be the 300% more that now, when we take this decision we are violation the third generation right, so we are destroying ours word and others word only for the decisions of some sector that gets benefited.

One of the others consequences that have the consumerism in the society is the make more easy the bad distribution of riches, that’s  because the consumers in general are of a socio economic level to much less that the boss of the companies that sells the product, so the consumers spend too much money in products that are unnecessary in fact, data from the global survey on consumer confidenue prepared by the consulting firm Nielsen, indicate that the Colombian consumers perception increased by 4 points in the last quarter of last year , with the increase of the electronic devices, closing with a score of 94 in other words the Colombian people waste money that could be used to upgrade his finance status, that mean that the riches will continues in the power and with the control of the capital and the poor will continue been poor.

In this order of ideas, we start to take account the social structure that actually the  society have, “how much you have, how you are”, that was the most significant sentence, that can a group how the society create false standards of how people need to be, that’s the main  reason why we see people that make bully to others only because doesn’t have the thinks that the society says that need to  have, but this problem could be answer with a upgrade in the education system that make the society more aware and engaged with this social problem, more than 10% of the students of Colombia says  that suffered  from bully in his schools because don’t have the thinks that others says is necessary to“ be good”, this kind of bully is the one that reflect the missing of culture that we need to beef up in the school, in the hospitals, work places, parks, in general people to understand that we are different and everyone have a particular situation and don’t follow the standards that are implanted, the differences and the mistakes are the thinks that makes us humans not the thinks that we buy.

Analyzing the above, we can conclude that the consumerism in Colombia is a double-edged sword because the way we are implementing, it is producing a partial stability of which the environment and certain social sectors are receiving their consequences, however sooner or later goes to affect the whole society as it is constantly and  progressively degrading it in areas, like destroy the ambient, make the poor more poor and the riches more rich and finally continue with the materialistic culture that  have ours society, the consumerisms bad consequences are more that the benefits so why? We don’t make a change? You need to be the balance and see what is better to Colombia, look around and think, this is the Colombia  that you want to gift to the future kids, a Colombia that is getting   used for someone’s.
