What Is Mindfulness And Why We Need It

The meditation  'Mindfulness' is to live each moment of the life as if it was only and special, loaning full attention and with intentionality to the present, without prejudging.  Mindfulness Is welfare and health, so much emotional welfare, physicist, mental like familiar welfare.
Because many times we are physically in a place but our mind is in another place, distracted with 'the automatic pilot ' and this provokes that we do not devote our valuable time to enjoy of the life.

Living like this breaks us aparts from life, John Lenon in one of his songs said that " life is what happens while we are making plans".  This produces a constant wear, the fact to be continuously focused in the thought consumes a lot of energy and makes us not to have a full consciousness, because the nervous system is always in full performance.

With the meditation 'Mindfulness' we avoid living in this 'automatic pilot' because we connect the mind and the body in the same place and in the same instant, that is to say, in the present.  When living each moment with full attention and full consciousness, we enjoy more what we like and feel more pleased.  On the contrary the experience does not like us or the results are unpleasant, we should live it only for the instant that it is produce, without insisting in the thought of making it last more time.

The science has showed that this attitude and lifestyle has beneficial effects for the health, and this is translated  in emotional welfare, physical welfare, mental welfare and in definite familiar welfare. This may of enjoying life reduces the stress and help us to manage emotions, and increases our optimism.  Because of this are more effective and creative in what we do and the premise to be happier becomes a reality.  And finally being more conscious of ourselves and of how we relate with others, we are less aggressive, we increase our empathy and improve our social relations.
The meditation Mindfulness is first of all a practice, a form to manage emotions, that trains us to be more attentive and more present in the present, with more friendliness, joy and a better management of sadness, an ire.

Mindfulness practices are not complicated. However, in order for them to be effective, some consistency is important which is the case for almost everything else in life that we hope to get benefit from. If we can simply sit everyday for five minutes and gradually increase our practice by one or two minutes each month, we will see our perspectives on life change for better. Deep intentional breathing and focusing on how we’re feeling are simple ways to start a regular practice.
